Tsering Topten Nelung
Tsering Topten Nelung (photo) was born in Tibet in 1953 and trained in traditional music and dance at the Tibetan Institute for Performing Arts in Dharamsala for 11 years. At present, he resides in Switzerland where he performs with the popular Tibetan music-group Nangma. His instruments are the piwang, flute, dranje and voice.

Lhundup Gyatso
Lhundup Gyatso was born in Lhasa in Central Tibet and studied Tibetan literature and music for over 20 years. He currently lives and teaches in Kathmandu and is regarded as an accomplished master of the piwang, or Tibetan horsehead violin.

Pema Thinley Samrab
Pema Thinley Samrab was born in Chung Riwoche in Western Tibet and presently lives in Kathmandu where he works as a composer and musician in praise of his homeland, Tibet.
